Lost & Found Property
We as a department would like to encourage the public to help us in helping you. In the event you, or somebody you know loses personal property or is the victim of theft, please report the incident to police. All too often, officers encounter property which they believe was lost or possibly stolen. Without a report to reference they are unable to return the items to their rightful owner. Unclaimed property is eventually sold at auction. If you have lost property and would like to see if it was recovered, please speak with any representative of our agency.

Disaster Preparedness Effort
Over the past few years the residents of Washington County have experienced several catastrophic events. Those with the largest impacts on our community have been natural disasters. Certain precautions can be taken by both the citizens and community leaders to decrease the odds of property damage or loss of life.
The Leeds Police Department is working with the Washington County Sheriffs Office to develop a current list of local resources. Our goal is to have a current list of Leeds residents, who have heavy equipment or related resources available should a disaster occur.
Citizens who are interested in assisting in this project are asked to supply their name, phone number and a list of available resources. In order to protect your privacy, the information will not be provided to non government personnel. If you wish to participate, please provide the above listed information to any employee of the Leeds Police Department. The information may be submitted via e-mail, mail or in person to any of our local Officers.
