The Leeds Police Department does not have a full time animal control officer.  The town is in the process of entering into an agreement with Washington City Animal Control.  In the case of a vicious or neglected animals, the responding officer will be able to  temporarily house the animal at the Washington City Animal Shelter until such time as the owner claims the animal or an order is received from a judge.  Once the agreement is finalized, the specific information regarding animal control will be posted on this page.
